Commercial Service Manager

Multevo have an exciting new position available within their growing Service Department. The role will play a pivotal role in delivering services that exceed expectations of both internal and external customers.

Our Mercedes-Benz Specialist Truck approved service centre has recently undergone renovations to expand our service department, providing new state-of-the-art facilities, allowing us to serve a growing customer base.

Since 2010, Multevo has been a UK distributor of innovative multi-purpose equipment used by Airports, Local Councils and major contractors for highways, winter, vegetation and cleansing duties – working with world-class manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz and Multihog.

Over the years the business has grown to have an in-house service delivery business for highways, civils, vegetation and traffic management, as well as providing specialist equipment and truck maintenance services.

In 2024, we became a Mercedes-Benz Specialist Truck approved service centre, meaning our people, processes and services are held to the highest standards. This newly formed role will be key to the success of the department as it continues to grow and will support a team with over 50-years multi-franchise dealer experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Work alongside the Technical Service Manager to ensure the continued improvement and profitable growth of the Service Department

• Strengthen the customer satisfaction process ensuring non-conformances and customer queries are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure business objectives are achieved

• Monitor workshop budget and spend, including costs and inventory of parts and equipment, and supplier management

• Maintain and grow strong relationships with current customers and develop/grow customer base

• Monitor sales targets and forecasts

• Identify, analyse and implement cost-saving opportunities

• Identify new revenue streams to support growth

• Set and maintain Mercedes-Benz dealer standards across all aspects, including meeting training needs of the dealership

• Set and monitor team objectives/KPIs including reviewing ongoing commercial performance

• Responsible for developing the parts department and growing revenue

• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and all health and safety related requirements are created.

• Attend trade shows to increase knowledge of new services and products

• Regularly assess and report on service department performance

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a main dealer service department

• Knowledge and experience in commercial management including profit and loss

• Experience in working alongside technical teams

• Proven track record for driving growth within a business/department/team

• Customer focused mindset
